Pundi X blockchain point of sale device receives CE certification
Pundi X, the developer of blockchain payment technology services and devices, has announced that its XPOS system has successfully passed CE (Conformité Européenne) tests and received the certification issued by Timco Engineering , an accredited testing facility for the FCC and IC based in the United States.
For the Pundi X team, this is an integral step proceeding its commercial shipments throughout Europe. CE certification verifies that the device is compliant with EU requirements essential for entering European Economic Area markets in areas such as wireless, electromagnetic compatibility, health, safety and environmental protection standards
The certification includes the use of GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSUPA, HSDPA, FPD-LTE Band (1, 3, 7, 8, 28, 38, 40), Wi-Fi (2.4G and 5G), SRD (5.8G), NFC, and Bluetooth as well as compliance with the safety requirements.
With the CE certification, Pundi X is able to help importers and distributors to make sure that XPOS systems put in the market comply with the applicable requirements and will enable quick scaling up of shipments to these markets.
