Börse Stuttgart’s crypto trading app adds 81,000 users in its first year
As well as adding 81,000 users in its first year, the crypto trading venture has announced plans to add more functionalities in 2020.
German traders love BISON
BISON was launched by Sowa Labs GmbH on January 31, 2019, after a year of development. Sowa Labs is a subsidiary of Börse Stuttgart, the second-largest stock exchange in Germany.
The trading app offers an easy, uncomplicated and secure entry into the crypto trading world. It also holds the distinction of being the first crypto trading application backed up by a traditional securities exchange.
BISON allows users to trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and XRP. To start trading, users simply download the application, verify their account and add funds. It is also possible to access a tax downloadable report for complying with legal requirements, making it a user-friendly and compliant crypto trading platform.
The app also features an innovative crypto radar intended to provide potential clues for future market movements. Users can access this data without having to keep an eye on crypto-related social media accounts.
Due to its innovative features and its high profile backing, BISON has seen a successful first year. The mobile application boasts over 81,000 active users. Referencing a successful first year, the CEO of Sowa Labs GmbH, Ulli Spankowski, stated, “We are very satisfied with the level of take-up for BISON. Our approach has been to make trading in cryptocurrencies as simple as possible, and the response has been excellent. Over the past twelve months, we have received a great deal of valuable feedback from users that we will incorporate into the further development of BISON.”
To better serve its users, Sowa Labs aims to add more functionality throughout 2020. The first of these is a desktop version of the BISON application. Secondly, BISON aims to add Bitcoin Cash (BCH) trading support in the near future.
Another new feature, introduced in January 2020, allows users to transfer BTC directly from their private wallets, as opposed to buying it from BISON. This functionality will also be added to the rest of the digital currencies available on the trading application.
Regulated crypto trading by Börse Stuttgart
Trading on BISON is made possible through the support of another Börse Stuttgart subsidiary. The subsidiary is EUWAX AG, which is regulated in Germany as a financial services provider. Trades are mediated by EUWAX AG, meaning users buy and sell cryptocurrencies to and from it, complying with German law.
