Binance adds three new trading pairs
Top crypto exchange by market capitalization Binance announced on the 22nd that it will add three new trading pairs on its platform.
The announcement read:
“Binance will open trading for FTM/AUD, FTM/BRL and SCRT/BUSD trading pairs at 2021-10-22 10:00 AM (UTC).”
The exchange has added two trading pairs for Fantom (FTM), a scalable blockchain platform for DeFi, crypto dApps, and enterprise applications. Additionally, it also added a trading pair for Secret Network (SCRT), a blockchain network focusing on data privacy.
In other news, Binance.US recently reported a flash crash of Bitcoin by 87%, reaching almost $8,000 before recovering to previous levels.
Due to this effect, other exchanges such as FTX were also seen to temporarily break below $ 60,000.
Initial reports suggested that the cause was a large-scale mass sale, but Binance US later explained that it was caused by a bug in the trading software.
