Crypto.com announces partnership with Matt Damon’s water.org
Major crypto platform crypto.com has now announced on October 25 a partnership with Water.org, a charity co-founded by Hollywood actor Matt Damon.
As per the announcement, the partnership seeks to leverage cryptocurrencies to raise awareness of the water crisis and to deliver safe, cost-effective drinking water and sanitation to developing countries.
Crypto.com has donated $1 million to Water.org as well as called on 10 million Crypto.com users worldwide to support this mission.
Matt Damon, Co-Founder of Water.org, said:

Water.org is a non-profit organization founded by US philanthropist and engineer Gary White and actor Matt Damon that aims to provide safe water and sanitation to people in developing countries.
To date, Water.org revealed that it has provided access to safe water and sanitation to more than 38 million people in 17 countries including Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
