EMTECH, Hedera Hashgraph partners to develop CBDC infrastructure
Hedera Hashgraph, a developer of distributed ledger technology, announced on the 11th that it has partnered with US fintech company EMTECH to develop an efficient CBDC infrastructure for central banks.
As per the announcement, this joint development aims to combine Hedera Hashgraph’s distributed ledger technology with EMTECH’s CBDC solution to develop a fast, safe, and energy-efficient CBDC solution for central banks all over the world.
EMTECH CEO and co-founder Carmelle Cadet said:
“This partnership brings both companies’ unique capabilities together, to design modern financial market infrastructures that deliver on those key principles. CBDC is more than a software application, it’s an infrastructure, and we want to get it right.”
In addition to the above, EMTECH and Hedera Hashgraph have also announced support measures for educating and spreading awareness on CBDC, stablecoin, digital assets, distributed ledger technology, and more, especially in the African Continent and the Caribbean region.
