EnjinStarter announces partnership with Enjin to support game development
Blockchain platform and NFT marketplace Enjin announced on October 5 that it has entered into a strategic partnership with EnjinStarter, a blockchain game launchpad, to fast-track growth in its ecosystem.
As per the announcement, the Enjin ecosystem will begin full-scale development and dissemination in order to play an innovative role as a base for blockchain-based games.
EnjinStarter is a project built on Enjin’s blockchain ‘JumpNet’, which features the ability to issue NFTs without any gas charges. While receiving strategic support and financial support from Enjin, EnjinStarter operates independently as a ‘launchpad’ to encourage developers’ entry in blockchain games.
Enjin Starter will also provide developers with virtual accelerator programs for blockchain integration, monetization, or marketing strategies for games, as well as strategic advice and funding support for leveraging digital assets.
Prakash Somosundram, CEO of EnjinStarter, said in the company’s press release:
“The roadmap ahead is ambitious, exciting, and will be game-changing for Enjin adopters and blockchain games as a whole. We’re honoured to play a small role in bringing the community together through our project acceleration and incubation.”
Enjin CEO Maxim Blagov added:
“We are experiencing exponential growth in our developer communities, and we look forward to working with EnjinStarter in this venture to build a thriving ecosystem of games built on blockchain.”
In addition, Enjin recently announced a partnership with the Korean company Dvision Network (DVI), which is engaged in metaverse development.
There are a total of seven game-related companies and development companies that use Enjin technology, called ‘Enjin official adapters’. The company has worked on over 55 projects with partners ranging from Microsoft to Samsung. The number of companies adopting Enjin technology is expected to increase in the future.
