Mercari launches hiring spree to oversee NFT business
Popular marketplace Mercari has announced a hiring spree for its NFT business related to its crypto subsidiary Mercoin established in April 2021.
Based on the company’s website and recruitment information on LinkedIn, Mercari is looking for “NFT business managers” who would formulate strategies and roadmaps for the business and drive the launch of its NFT products.
The company would also consider partnering with other companies on its new project.
Mercari established Mercoin in April of this year and started planning and developing services related to crypto assets and blockchain. As part of its new initiatives, the flea market app “Mercari” is developing a function to receive a part of the sales proceeds in Bitcoin (BTC).
According to the company’s website, Mercari would create services that allow users to trade digital content such as NFTs by incorporating blockchain technology.
