BitFlyer to resume offering Bitcoin Lightning FX/Futures
BitFlyer, a major Japanese crypto asset exchange, received its license to become a “Type I Financial Instruments Business” as required by Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Act on October 14, 2021.
With its license, the exchange has resumed registration for its Bitcoin margin trading solutions called Lightning FX and Lightning Futures. To commemorate the event, the exchange will carry out a campaign to offer cashback on all “swap points” generated in Lightning FX/Futures in Japanese yen until November 30.
Lightning FX is a service that allows users to deposit Japanese yen and then margin trade Bitcoin. Users can buy and sell Bitcoin mainly by contract for difference, and with 2x leverage capabilities. The company has set the minimum order quantity to 0.01 BTC.
Established in January 2014, bitFlyer is currently the largest Japanese crypto exchange in terms of Bitcoin trading volume. In particular, the exchange has attracted demand from domestic traders for its Bitcoin derivatives trading services.
